Shedding light on HIV stigma and discrimination
A report from the XVI International AIDS Conference,
Toronto, Canada – August 2006
This publication, written by a small team of dedicated Key Correspondents from a range of developed and developing countries, provides an overview of presentations and discussions around HIV-related stigma at the International AIDS Conference in 2006. It provides a unique snapshot of the current state of HIV stigma, and forms part of what must be a robust, committed and tireless fight against the most damaging phenomenon of the HIV epidemic.

POST IAC 2006: The Promise of Bangkok: Time To Deliver |

The XVI International AIDS Conference (IAC) took place in Toronto, Canada from 14-18 August 2006.
The Health and Development Networks (HDN) Key Correspondent (KC) Team was on-site providing coverage and included members from 17 countries!
The HDN KC Team produced coverage on late-breaking news, and on HIV related stigma and children's issues. These articles - as well as other relevant news and developments – were compiled and are now being disseminated via the electronic discussion forums (eForums) HDN manages with partners.
